This basic crafting video introduces how to make vases for the home using recycled glass bottles and jars, along with PVA glue and garden twine. This is an easy and fun creative project that can be made by recycling items from around the house such as jam jars.

These mini vases were so much fun to make! I made 3 little vases from a washed and recycled jam jar, soy sauce jar and a vinegar-type jar. Simply use glue (PVA glue or Elmer's glue) and garden twine to make your own home decor project! If you don't have garden twine, try using yarn or thin rope or cord. Easy and simple to make!
Materials for this project include:
Bottles, jars or glass, preferably recycled.
Garden twine. (Or yarn, cord, etc).
Glue such as PVA glue, Elmers or basic non-toxic glue.
Small paint brush, to apply glue to bottle.
Cloth such as paper towel or kitchen role to wipe off excess glue.
During the corona-virus outbreak and home isolation, hopefully you'll have the materials at home already that are needed for this project. If you don't have jars, you could decorate little tin cans (recycled from soup, beans, etc) and they would make cute little twine-wrapped vases too.
Mod podge glue isn't necessary for this project, but could be used as well.
This is also a great rustic-look project for wedding decor that you can make yourself. Perfect for a barn wedding, country party, or for summer garden parties.
This do-it-yourself rustic project is easier than it looks! Save money too by making your own!
