Easy Autumn Lantern Decorating with Artificial Flowers and Glue Gun

This how to video shows how easy it is to decorate a lantern for Autumn using a glue gun and artificial greenery and fall leaves. So easy and an enjoyable weekend project!

Materials used in the video to decorate the Lantern:

1. Hot Glue Gun - can be bought online or at The Range, Hobbycraft, Wyse Byse and Dunelm, etc. Prices start around £4.

2. Lantern - the one in the video is battery operated. You'll find lanterns in home décor shops and garden centres. Prices range from £5 to over £100 (seriously!).

3. Greenery - can be bought online or at range of shops such as craft shops and home décor shops. Prices start around £3 per piece.

4. Ribbon - prices start around £3 for 2 metres. I used 2 metres of ribbon on this piece.

5. Rose hips (artificial) and orange autumn flowers for decorating - can also be bought online. I bought the stem of orange shiny flowers at a garden centre for £3.99 and only used 3 of the flowers... so can be used for another project as well!

6. Wire cutters (or good scissors) to cut stems of artificial flowers.

Use wire cutters or scissors to cut your artificial greenery to the size you need, and glue on!

TIP: Position your greenery in different ways on top of your lantern, before gluing! Once stuck down with hot glue, it can be tricky to reposition.
